About Me
My name is KrisAnn Talarico and I founded Curveball Counseling LLC as a place for people to find steadiness and meaning through life’s most tender transitions. Whether you're navigating cancer, caregiving, grief, or a major life change—I’m here to support you with care, clarity, and presence.
Through 20 years of experience in working with people facing cancer, I understand the ache of uncertainty and the strength it takes to keep showing up for your life when everything feels like it’s shifting. I bring that perspective—along with years of clinical experience and a deep respect for your inner wisdom—to every session.
My approach is grounded in:
Evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness
Relational, person-centered therapy that honors your story
Blending clinical skill and deep listening because healing happens through presence, curiosity, and connection—not through fixing, but through tending what needs care
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to be “ready” or have the right words. You just need to show up—and we’ll go from there, together.

Outside the Office
I’m a deep listener, a cheerleader for resilience, and someone who believes in the power of presence—sometimes the most healing thing we can offer each other. You’ll often find me near the water or among the trees, finding inspiration in nature’s quiet wisdom. Though this all sounds very contemplative, I also love humor, puns, and laughter!
